I bought this salon in June of 2009 and changed it into a Full Service Salon, this is the second salon I have owned and love it and the women that work here. I enjoy doing Hair and Nails it is a true passion, I am a bit of a perfectionist at times, but it pays off when I see the results of my work and the smiles on my client’s faces.

Bonnie is a Nevada State Certified Cosmetologist focusing on hair design. She is always taking continuing education classes to stay current with new trends. Specializing in color and cuts she can give you anything from natural highlights to bold, fun chunky colors. Bonnie has always had a passion for hair and her artistic ability will create a customized style to fit each of her clients and their lifestyle. She has 3 years experience with Redken Color gels and Shades EQ to provide her clients with a new fun, fresh professional color.

Amber Hughes

Hair Designer~Amber is originally from Ohio, but has lived in Reno for 14 years and is a 2001 Galena High School graduate. She has been married to her husband Keith since September of 2006 and they welcomed their daughter, Reese, in June 2009. She has 2 chihuahuas named Mickey and Minnie.

After attending UNR for 3 years, Amber decided to leave and attend International Academy of Style, where she discovered her passion for doing hair. She has been a Hair Stylist for 5 years and is a Redken Color Specialist. Her favorite thing to do is completely transform her clients and make them feel like a new person. She loves doing weaves, colors and haircuts. Amber is confident in her work and guarantees that you will love your hair!

I’m married with 4 children and have been doing nails for 10 years. Within that time, I have taken acrylic and Gel techniques as well as nail art, and airbrushing classes. In addition to taking various classes, I found that I truly love teaching. I work with many other nail professionals in developing better techniques to apply, design, and strengthen nail art.
I have attended many nail shows and practice, practice, practice and I love doing nails. In 2007, I bought my own salon. The girls at the salon as well as friends and family constantly refer to me as a nail junkie. Lol. So Be It! It is the truth that I practically eat, sleep and breathe nails. I continue to do one on one education with licensed professionals or beauty students as well as serve my clients.

I graduated from Deloux School of Cosmetology in October of 2007. I have been at The Nail Hut and More since April of 2008. I go to college full time and work full time. I paint, draw, and do photography in my spare time. I am the youngest of three I was born in Reno and moved to Mississippi during elementary school and moved back to Reno and have been here ever since. I specialize in Tallons (California curves, Hoodstars, extreme curves, etc.) I mix a lot of my own glitters and love to be creative. I am fun and outgoing and have a strong passion for doing nails.
